
Update: we have been getting reports from a couple of truckers who signed up to Wildcat Strike USA 2021 that their fellow truckers are taking part in “slow rolls” and that some have even parked their rigs right in the middle of the interstate highway. We have asked for pictures and as soon as we get them, we will publish them here.
I am updating this story for another reason, though #WildcatStrikeUSA2021 officially starts today, this is by no means a one and done event. We encourage everyone to keep at it and as this is a rolling strike. I myself took a day off from work and so did other organizers within our group. We have laid the foundation and the blueprint to get our voices heard, if we want to get the attention of politicians and policy makers, shutting down commerce is the way to do it.
so I encourage everyone to sign up to #WildcatStrikeUSA2021 and to keep spreading the word. I’m going to keep updating this article so that this page can be the central spot where people can come to get the most current news with respect to this effort and I’m also going to lay out milestones so that we can coordinate this grassroots effort as much as possible.
The next big milestone is Thursday, January 28th, as we call on truckers to organize another nationwide “dump your loads and park your rigs” campaign in honor of the Electrical, Radio and Machinist Workers’ Strike that took place from January through March of 1946. Led by electrical workers, to this day it is the 10th largest strike in U.S. history. Let me get a few legalities out of the way before I get to the reason I’m calling for a wildcat strike in America. First, I am a journalist who is writing this story protected by the First Amendment and enshrined in the US Constitution that guarantees a free press among other things. I am also a human rights advocate who affirms deeply in the redemptive power of love and the healing potential of unity. Lastly, as a Christian and a believer of God that the United States government supposedly honors, I am speaking up on behalf of the least among us the same way Jesus once stood up for the marginalized majority in the land of Judah.
Now that we got that preamble out of the way, let me get to the heart of the matter. I believe we have reached an inflection point as a nation and as a people globally; no longer can we stand pat and wait for a change we desperately need to arrive magically. Let me echo the words of Thomas Jefferson to underscore the reason I am writing this article and why I’m advocating for a radical yet rational form of unified action:
“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness—that to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed—that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” [Declaration of Independence]
The time for politics is over, we are at the doorsteps of our final dissolution. If we do not resist and rebuff this creeping dictatorship that is masked with a veneer of “representative democracy”, we shall all become equal before connective tribulation before we meet our final annihilation. What I am writing about is not related to race nor is my message catered to a narrow group of people; this is literally a broadcast meant for all of us because the noose has been placed around our collective necks.
Within a matter of months, if not a matter of weeks, the United States will be transformed from a land of opportunity into a wasteland of tyranny. We are already seeing the sneak preview of this upcoming totalitarianism; four years of Trump delusion is about to give birth to four years of Biden authoritarianism. The handwriting is on the wall; within short order, Biden will leverage the Covid-19 manufactured crisis in order to implement a most virulent strain of Big Brotherism. Wave goodbye to freedom and start preparing for fascism the likes of which Mussolini would have blushed over.
If we have any chance to avert this oncoming bullet that is coming for our heads; it’s imperative for us to act decisively and under one accord. At long last, we must overcome generations of divisions which have been inculcated in our minds and instead unite under the banner of our common humanity. Like Martin Luther King once noted, we must arrive at a point where we judge each other based on the content of our character and stop weighing our worth based on the color of our skins. The caste system of race which was created by racists must be eradicated if we are to avoid this train that is coming straight for us.
Once we unite, we must then take action. What I am advocating is simple yet effective in ways the few who rule with iron fists are terrified of. On January 20th, 2021, the same day the establishment will spend lavishing praise on the 46th public serpent to be sworn in as President of the United States, Americans of all political and social stripe should take a day off from work. What I’m calling for is a wildcat strike where the poor, working and middle-class refuse to go to our jobs and instead observe a day of defiance.
If you have a vacation day, use it. If you are able to take a sick day, do so. Whatever means that you have before you, find a way to not report to work on January 20th. That is but the first phase of #WildcatStrikeUSA2021, the next phase is the most important. I am asking all truckers across America to drop their loads and park their rigs right in the middle of the interstate highways. Pick your locations strategically; truckers understand chokepoints and bottle necks, find these areas of weaknesses and leave your trucks in park for at least 24 hours. After that, I just ask you to do as you are able, the longer the wildcat strike, the more effective the repercussion of our united effort.
This message extends beyond just truckers however, I’m also asking essential workers to take a day off on January 20th. They are targeting your profession to take the Covid-19 “vaccine” for a reason, as the front line falls, so too will the rest of society behind it. If you are not in the United States, replicate these efforts right where you live. What we are fighting against in America is the same snake that is suffocating the rest of the world. Globalism is a boa constrictor; if we do not find a way to cut off its head, we shall soon enough be swallowed into the belly of the beast.
Twenty-four hours of Americans acting in one voice and putting our differences aside will shut down commerce across this great nation of ours. The aristocracy refuse to listen to our voices but we can put the fear of God in their hearts the minute they see their cherished markets come to a screeching halt. This day of collective action will also be a catalyst for something greater; once people realize our dormant power, there is no stopping our collective might. #WildcatStrikeUSA2021 Click To Tweet
One person cannot achieve this by himself or herself alone, if this wildcat strike is to be effective, it will only be if organize and coalesce our voices as one. Instead of using social media to amplify the hate of paid opinion leaders or to echo the anger of grievance peddlers, let us leverage Facebook, Twitter, Google and Instagram to gather momentum and pull of this strike for, of and by the people. Use #WildcatStrikeUSA2021 to spread awareness and especially reach out to truckers and front line workers.
We have eight days to make this happen, I pray we are able to get over our differences and turn workers into David who fell the Goliath that is corporatism.
As I noted at the outset, this is not about politics and neither is this about the endless list of identities that have been imposed upon us. I’m not advocating a violent revolution nor am I preaching from the pulpit of chaos. I do not believe in revolutions at all, every overthrow of the ruling class through the gun leads only to a rebirth of the very same tyranny that gave rise to the uprising to begin with. However, I also do not believe that the proletariat should just give their necks to the plutocracy to be stepped on ad infinitum.
What I am espousing and agitating for is about our commonalities of pain and our commonalities of hope. If we have any chance to upend a system that has made slaves of 99% of humanity, it’s if we act swiftly and do so under the banner of solidarity. Failing a united front, we will soon witness what the Germans experienced in the 1940’s. I pray for a public awakening or else we will soon enter an age of inescapable comatose.
